They come in four different kinds:
Very trashy, eg: Atlantis Rising (NEVER, EVER read that book)
Mid-range trashy, eg: The Bitten (pretty good, I'm reading it at the mo)
Trashy but good, eg: the Anita Blake books (before she turns into a sult)
and the rarest of them all
Non-trashy, eg: Daylight by Elizabeth Knox (tis very weird, even for her)
